Mirjana Ninkovic has 25 years experience practicing as a registered
patent and trademark attorney. She joined Ninkovic Law Office in 1980 after
a career in design of electronic equipment and avionic systems.
She was previously a research engineer with a company in
London and the Manager of the Avionics Engineering Department of JAT (Yugoslav
Air Transport) before qualifying as a registered patent and trademark attorney.
She has handled numerous Patent Applications, Trademark Applications, Registered
Design Applications and enforcement of IP rights actions for domestic and
international clients.
She currently represents clients from Canada, Germany, Great
Britain, Hungary, India, Japan, South Korea and the U.S.A. before the Intellectual
Property Office in Belgrade. After the break-up of the Former Yugoslavia,
Mirjana established a network of associates in Slovenia, Croatia, Macedonia,
Bosnia & Herzegovina and Albania extending the firm's services to all
these countries.
Her current practice focuses on all aspects of intellectual
property protection including obtaining patent and trademark registration
and acting with regards to potential infringements. In October 2004 she was
appointed the Secretary of the AIPPI National Group for Serbia. Mirjana is
fluent in English and French.
